HKV faculty supported ISO 50001 EnMS accreditation scheme development

Mr Howie Ng, Technical Director of HKV, was invited by the European Union to be a Senior Expert in providing technical assistance to develop and introduce the ISO 50001 EnMS accreditation scheme to the Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN), Indonesia. Mr. Ng shared his insights on ISO50001:2011 EnMS. The group deliberated on the ISO 50001:2011 requirements, and especially issues from the perspective of an accreditation body. The newly published ISO 50003:2014 requirements on EnMS certification bodies was also covered.
