When a buyer wishes to source a certain product, he would identify a few potential suppliers. In order to select the most economical supplier in terms of price, product quality and delivery reliability, an independent evaluation on the supplier’s management approach, facilities and pool of talents would be useful to support the buyer’s decision. The criteria for evaluation could be in-house criteria, or national or international standards in quality, environment and social responsibility.
Our experienced assessor will visit the potential suppliers and assess the supplier’s management system based on the agreed criteria. The assessor will talk to senior and middle management and front line personnel to gauge their approach in business, and concept in management. In addition to the fact based report, a recommendation may be provided subject to the requirement of the buyer. It will be up to the buyer to select which supplier eventually, taking into other considerations such as FOB price, shipment cost, country of origin etc.
